Thousands expected for Easter Egg Hunt in Downtown Clearwater

CLEARWATER, Fla. - March 13, 2025 - PRLog -- On Easter Sunday, April 20^th, the Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) will host their 28^th Annual Ginormous Easter Egg Hunt at Clearwater's Coachman Park. The activities start at 11:00am, with the hunt itself starting at 12:30pm. There is no cost to participate in the hunt.

In addition to the hunt, which will include 100,000 pieces of candy and nearly 10,000 Easter eggs, activities include live entertainment, a kiddie carousel, train rides, bounce houses, face painting, a Cinderella carriage photo op and visits with the Easter Bunny. 200 lucky egg hunters will find a golden egg in one of the Easter eggs in the park. The golden eggs can be exchanged for a stuffed bunny.

The hunt will be divided into two categories by age, so that children 5 and under will have the same opportunity to find hidden eggs as those six and over. Goodie bags will be provided to children under the age of two.

"We are very excited to see the Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) is holding the Ginormous Easter Egg Hunt to Coachman Park," said Lisa Mansell, Community Affairs Director for the Church of Scientology, sponsor of the hunt. "CCV's goal is not only to bring families together for an afternoon of making memories, but also to raise funds through the ticket sales and food sales which will support families in need."

When not planning and producing their broad-scale events, such as Winter Wonderland and the Easter Egg Hunt, CCV helps charities with items of need, from school supplies to full Thanksgiving dinners.
