Follow on Google News | Paris: Bonnie Wiseman Releases First Poetry Collection, Roses des continentsBonnie Wiseman announces the release of Roses des continents, his debut poetry collection. Comprising 52 poems in both rhyme and free verse, the book that is published in French is already receiving positive feedback.
By: Bonnie Wiseman Through his poems, Wiseman celebrates women, human beauty, and life itself. The collection delves into love in all its forms: romantic, universal, and self-love. With a poetic style that is both simple and refined, the author highlights the power of love and invites readers to reflect on the beauty of the human soul. "Roses des continents is, above all, a tribute to women and life," Wiseman stated. "I wanted to offer a bouquet of words that touches hearts and awakens consciousness." A Poetic Journey Across Three Continents The title evokes a poetic journey inspired by the author's experiences across three continents: Africa (Abidjan), America (New York), and Europe (Paris). Each poem is a unique "rose," reflecting real or imagined moments of life. Poems such as Afrique, Paris, and Isela illustrate this diversity. In addition to love, the work invites readers to reflect and seek wisdom, enriching the collection with a meditative depth. High Praise from Critics Early readers praise the collection's musicality and originality. Wiseman's poetry, subtle yet powerful, evokes deep emotions without resorting to clichés. "A tribute to love in all its shades, blending gravity and lightness," says Geneviève Goëtzinger, journalist and president of Agence imaGGe. Professor Josué Guébo highlights that the work is also a reflection on life and time. Professor David Kittay of Columbia University describes the collection as a brilliant exploration of love's many forms, expressed with nuance and emotion.
