Lady Arcaders Raises Over $6,000 for CARE Through Community and Gaming

TORONTO - Aug. 1, 2024 - PRLog -- Viewers from around the world tuned in to the third annual "Lady Arcaders Super Showcase" (LASS 2024) from July 25th - 28th in support of CARE. The event, which took place on the Lady Arcaders Twitch channel (twitch.tv/LadyArcaders), grossed $6,051. It was the third time Lady Arcaders fundraised for CARE. CARE is an international organization with a focus on women and girls. They aim to save lives during conflicts, overcome poverty around the world, achieve social justice, and raise up women and girls' voices in communities where they are often unheard.

The annual Lady Arcaders Super Showcase is the flagship charity event held by Lady Arcaders. It puts women and femmes in the spotlight, while training them as technicians, stage managers, producers, media presenters, hosts, and performers.

LASS 2024 involved over 100 volunteers around the world. It was restreamed in both Spanish and French languages by our partners at SpeedrunsEspañol and Fast & Fabulous respectively. The event was also featured on the front page of Speedrun.com.
