ASI Issues 2024 Membership Performance Benchmark Report, Will Host March 21 Webcast to Analyze Results

The 9th Annual Membership Performance Benchmark Survey, conducted in late 2023, received a record-breaking 1,478 responses from membership professionals in the United States, Canada, EMEIA, and the Asia-Pacific region. The report explores the latest trends in member engagement, acquisitions, retention, and non-dues/non-membership fee revenue generation. Respondents also shared specific strategies for growth in each of these areas.

This year, the survey also included a special section exploring the attitudes and opinions of labor and union professionals. The report also examined how non-profit perspectives differ by generation.

Survey results were overwhelmingly positive; key findings included:

• 82% have a digital transformation plan or will develop one this year
• 54% increased member engagement
• 48% increased new-member rates
• 86% believe artificial intelligence increases efficiency
• 67% are very or extremely confident about the future
