34 Days Left to Spark a Difference

[Georgetown, TX, January 27, 2024] — Goodwater Montessori Public Charter School is thrilled to announce the launch of our much-anticipated Raise Craze Kindness Campaign 2024, where Kindness truly matters! With just 34 days remaining, we invite the community to join us in this unique fundraiser dedicated to both our school's well-being and fostering a culture of benevolence.

RAISING FUNDS FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

Our primary focus during this campaign is to raise funds for the following critical areas:

· Staff Compensation, Retention & Training: Our Guides and Staff work so hard to provide an enriching educational experience for our students, and want them to feel appreciated.

· Facilities: Our building is the single most expensive part of our budget. In order to keep the doors open and the school operating, we really need support to fund this line item.

· Bridging the gap in funding between Charters and ISDs: As a charter school, Goodwater receives an average of $900 LESS per student in state taxpayer funding than traditional ISDs in Texas.

This campaign is not just about financial support; it's about instilling values of kindness and gratitude in our students. Instead of traditional selling, our students will dedicate their time to Acts of Kindness within the community.

• City Park Cleanup:

Contributing to the community by tidying up local parks.

· Community Workdays in our School Orchard: Bringing families together to enrich this wonderful school resource.
