By: Lee County Black History Society "Experience the magic of unity and festive cheer as our community comes alive with the Soulful Lights and Shining Stars theme, celebrating diversity and togetherness," Movie in the Park will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 1 with an outdoor screening and same-day premiere of Prime Video's holiday comedy "Candy Cane Lane," featuring Eddie Murphy (rated PG). The event is free, with complementary snacks available. Guests should bring chairs or blankets for seating. Holiday in the Park will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Roberto Clemente Park. With the theme "Soulful Lights and Shining Stars," the free community event includes food trucks, live entertainment, the Soul Santa Parade, community tree lighting, tours of the Williams Academy Black History Museum, bounce houses, toy giveaway, vendors and more.
