During her time there she began her first company, DiCi Services. But she hadn't originally planned to take up her business full-time. So, what led her to make this leap? Cagan explained, "The honest truth of the matter is that despite being led to believe that as a woman, I could, and I'm using air quotes, write my own ticket in that particular industry. That really wasn't accurate." In response, Cagan left the company and began her journey as a full-time entrepreneur. It's important that we are not just an ally but collaborating and learning from one another." With that said, on this National Women-Owned Business Day, let's not only celebrate the history of women's achievements but also actively contribute to making history for women. End
