LawCluster – Behind the scenes

BANGKOK - Aug. 22, 2023 - PRLog -- LawCluster, Thailand's innovative legal tech portal, provides a variety of services to lawyers and clients alike. This is especially important for segments in society, who did not have this opportunity before.

How is it like to be involved in such a project? As the name suggests, legal technologies provide an intersection between traditional law, its traditions, and practices on one hand, and the disruptive, groundbreaking force of digital technologies on the other. Two key team members provide insights into their motivation developing the hub:

Ms. Dararat Fugsorn, an external legal advisor of the project and associate of KARST & Partners, supporting LC's development team, by adding from a lawyer's point of view: "Life is developing every day. This particularly holds true to the area of digital progress, which has shaped my generation and the generations to come. How could our legal profession divorce itself from this shift in society? We, as lawyers, believe in our legal system to provide stability for our nation. That is why, we always tend to be a bit more traditional. To ensure a bright future of Thailand's legal profession, in this ever-changing world, we, therefore, must preserve the core essence of our traditions, while adapting to new tools which makes us, and our clients, more successful. We have to remember that tradition is not to worship the ashes but the preservation of the fire. In this way I wanted to support development of a digital solution, while keeping our essential customs and professional code in mind."

Ms. Tikah Chedamae, who joined the company as webmaster. She has supported LC's development team by organizing all web-portal related aspects with the programming team, features of design and marketing.   "Being involved in the LawCluster project has been an exhilarating experience. It's a unique opportunity to witness the convergence of two distinct fields: law and technology. As the webmaster, my role is to ensure smooth functioning of the portal and enhance its user experience. Collaborating with the development team, I get to work on various aspects such as original web master tasks, tester, design, marketing features, which is both challenging and rewarding. LawCluster is not just a platform; it's a game-changer for the legal industry in Thailand. So it's empowering to be part of a team that is enabling access to affordable and quality legal advice for all citizens, regardless of their background or financial means."
