Corn Stand Jam Festival Keeps Jammin' on in Hamilton

5th Annual Free Event Supporting Mental Health September 30 at RiversEdge Amphitheater
HAMILTON, Ohio - Aug. 30, 2023 - PRLog -- The Corn Stand Jam (CSJ), formerly Christian's Corn Stand Jam, was originally founded in 2019, as a festival event to remember, honor and celebrate the life of Christian Unger by utilizing the spirit of music and community. As mental illness touches so many in the community, the annual event has grown to include year-round activities and outreach, focused on mental health awareness. The CSJ strives to raise awareness and funds to support mental health organizations and scholarships for Butler County youth.

"I could not be happier to celebrate our fifth annual cornstand jam with our great team of volunteers, sponsors, mental health agencies, and families who have suffered great loss. There is no greater love than to help someone when you yourself are broken." said CSJ founder, James "Jimmy" Unger.

Mental health outreach and advocacy booths will be there including: CSJ presenting sponsor, Butler Behavioral Health, Envision Partnerships, and others from our local and regional community.

About the Corn Stand Jam

We believe in the importance of mental health awareness and support organizations that supply resources and services to those in need. Corn Stand Jam is a community based, all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness towards mental health, increasing access to services for those living with mental health issues and to provide resources that help facilitate a more productive life. We work to improve the lives of those afflicted with mental health issues by providing awareness of community services and outreach programs through our community based events; changing the perception and impact of mental health on all aspects of family life; and providing support to local schools and agencies in the form of scholarships to area youth, fundraising, and community outreach.
