Marshawn Lynch to join John Schriffen and Jon Dorenbos For SlamBall Championship This Week on ESPN
Five-time NFL Pro Bowl Selection to Make His SlamBall Broadcast Debut Tuesday night
"Marshawn Lynch stands out as one of the sports world's most distinctive personalities, making him a perfect addition to the SlamBall broadcast booth," said SlamBall co-founder Mason Gordon. "His unfiltered perspective and extensive experience on sports' biggest stages will perfectly complement John Schriffen and Jon Dorenbos, who have been mainstays this season. With this playoff broadcast team, we're confident in elevating the already exhilarating on-court action for our viewers."
Lynch, a 12 year NFL veteran, was selected to the Pro Bowl five times and was a four time All-Pro selection during his career as a running back, helping lead the Seattle Seahawks to the Super Bowl XLVIII title. He twice led the NFL in rushing touchdowns and was selected to the NFL All-Decade team for 2010-20.
Tuesday's quarterfinals will feature the No. 3 seed, the Slashers vs. No. 6 seeded Gryphons, while 4 seed Wrath meet the No. 5 Lava. Those games will be followed by the Slam Dunk Contest with eight participants. Then on Thursday, the semi-finals will have the top seeded and undefeated Mob vs. winner of quarterfinal between No. 4 Wrath and No. 5 Lava, with the No. 2 Buzzsaw vs. winner of quarterfinal between No. 3 Slashers vs. No. 6 Gryphons.
The SlamBall Championship Game will then follow.
