BCM Georgia Welcomes New President to Board of Directors

ATLANTA - July 17, 2023 - PRLog -- BUCKHEAD, GA – On July 1, 2023, BCM Georgia's new board year began, and moving into the position of president is current board member Roy Jenkins. As BCM Georgia continues to reach and impact the greater Atlanta community, his appointment will prove invaluable for the organization.

Roy Jenkins serves as the Vice President of P2P and SP Operations at Synchrony and is taking over as president of the BCM Georgia board following Greg Weller. Roy has more than 35 years of global, corporate and management experience in the retail, financial services, technology and professional service industries. His desire to manage through servant leadership and help others improve their lives is aligned with BCM Georgia's current mission and future vision: keeping people from becoming homeless, working to elevate their possibilities for economic empowerment, and envisioning caring communities where everyone has a home and the opportunity to thrive.

The board of directors also elected Greg Weller, CEO at ServiceMaster, to the role of vice president; Tripp Kay, principal at CLA Atlanta, as treasurer; Christy Roberts as secretary and Tom Wamsley, attorney at Taylor English Duma, LLP and Joel Hughey, partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLC as members at large.
