New Privacy by Design Quick Check from Informatica Helps Companies to Rapidly Find Compliance Gaps
Informatica' s MPC PrivacyDASH™ now offers self-assessment aligned with the new ISO 31700-1:2023 Privacy Standard
By: Informatica Canada
To help companies comply with the new ISO 31700-1:2023 standard, Informatica Corporation and Managed Privacy Canada have launched a new tool that enables Canadian SMBs and their partners around the world to rapidly gauge their adherence to the world's gold standard for privacy.
Privacy Dash has now added the "Are You Private By Design" quiz to its "on-demand" set of features that facilitate privacy compliance. It includes a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) module, enabling organizations to assess and mitigate privacy risks associated with their data practices.
"Privacy is an ongoing commitment to building trust with your customers," says Claudiu Popa, Founder of Managed Privacy Canada. Our clients understand the importance of privacy and security, which is why we have developed cutting-edge solutions to help businesses prepare to comply with the new Privacy by Design standard."
With Privacy Dash, companies can easily conduct PIAs, identify potential privacy issues, and implement appropriate safeguards.
To further reinforce a company's privacy and security posture, Informatica also offers the Verify Audit Portal, a range of security testing and assessments also available on-demand from a mobile-ready cybersecurity management portal provided by Datarisk Canada.
The standards-based reports provide detailed insights into your organization's security controls, vulnerabilities, and compliance status. By leveraging these reports, an organization can proactively identify and address any weaknesses in their systems, ensuring a robust defense against potential data breaches.
Compliance officers, security professionals and IT managers are invited to register for a PrivacyDASH (for CPOs and DPOs) or the Verify Audit Portal (for CSOs and CISOs) account from their MPC (www.ManagedPrivacy.ca)
