Celebrate the Coronation Weekend at Balmer Lawn Hotel, New Forest

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - April 21, 2023 - PRLog -- It's not long now until the Coronation long weekend in May, and there is no better place to celebrate than at the iconic, four-star, Balmer Lawn Hotel in Brockenhurst, in the heart of the New Forest.

Voted the New Forest's most dog-friendly hotel, there will be events taking place in and around the hotel from Saturday 6, through to the Bank Holiday on Monday 8 May.

Saturday 6 May:  The hotel will be staging an epic afternoon tea, accompanied by a live music DJ playing sounds through the ages, from the rock 'n roll 50s, swinging 60s, glam rock 70s, right up to the modern-day era of Sheeran, Swift and Styles!

Don't worry about missing the Coronation ceremony, it will be shown on large screens dotted around the hotel.  The event, including the tea, costs from £29.95 per adult with children under 12 going half price.

Sunday 7 May: Tuck into a traditional Sunday roast lunch with a wide choice of dishes including something for veggies and vegans.  The lunch costs £32.50 for two courses and £37.50 for three courses.  Children go half price.

There will be a DJ spinning discs throughout the afternoon, a jester performing 'table trickery', a 'Royal Trail' for the little ones, plus face painting and crafts.  There will also be life size cut-outs of the King and Queen so you can crown anyone in the family!

Monday 8 May: As part of the UK's wider Coronation celebrations, people are being encouraged to use the Monday Bank Holiday as an opportunity to volunteer their services for the local community.

At the Balmer Lawn Hotel, the staff will be taking part in the 'Big Help Out', supporting local charities and initiatives in the New Forest, and encouraging guests to do the same.
