PRLog -- Furthermore, there were changes on the software side that many IATF 16949 organizations experienced, mainly the advent of ASPICE for software. Use of a "process standard" for embedded software is a requirement of IATF 16949 2019 and 2020 saw OEMs require ASPICE of their software suppliers. This requirement will only intensify in the industry. The VDA PPAP went through a change now requiring software as a part of the PPAP requirement. European OEMs are now requiring TISAX, a Cybersecurity Management System aligned with ISO 27001.
