Follow on Google News | Company is Making Moves to Accelerate Urban Air Mobility for CitieseVertiSKY group is investing in the world's first UAM feasibility study through a mock project in Chicago.
By: eVertiSKY The feasibility study will examine the technical, economic, and regulatory aspects of UAM, including the design of the UAM infrastructure, the development of UAM operations and services, and the evaluation of the potential impact of UAM on local communities. The baseline notion of the Study is that all risks have been removed. For example, the assumptions are permitting, land rights, funding, and stakeholders have been established for the development of a UAM vision. In March, eVertiSKY will conduct the study with its team of Vertiport architects, Airspace designers in collaboration with UAM operators/carriers, and community workforce participants. eVertiSKY has selected a site on the south side of Chicago with strong intermodal and passenger connectivity. The location selected will serve as a testing ground for the UAM feasibility study with stakeholders providing insights into developing a comprehensive UAM platform that integrates with the community and urban environment. eVertiSKY's UAM platform empowers stakeholders with intuitive tools and industry expertise to participate in the vision, planning, and deployment of scalable UAM activity as regulations and the market evolves. Each city requires standard takeoff and landing facilities and associated built environments that integrate with UAM airspace activity. Users of UAM require access to passenger, cargo, and last-mile delivery services via operator/carrier- "By carefully designing the ground and urban airspace, developing predictable corridors through software-defined systems, and ensuring that land analysis and specifications align the airspace, municipalities and stakeholders can support the safe and efficient deployment of eVTOLs and drones in cities and communities." The feasibility study aims to illustrate the process for implementing the UAM vision, as well as the benefits of deploying UAM takeoff and landing facilities and associated built environment as the catalyst for investment activity in underestimated areas. eVertiSKY and its partners are committed to developing scalable, sustainable, and efficient Vertiport and Software Defined Airspace solutions that will meet the needs of communities and urban areas in the years to come. The eVertiSKY UAM Feasibility Study is a critical step in the development of UAM services for cities around the world. https://www.evertisky.com/ End
