The Community Project Funding for 2023 is one of Congresswoman Rice's final acts in Congress. Kathleen Rice, Congressional Representative for New York's 4th District, worked with Senator Schumer to secure this funding. "The Urban League of Long Island, Inc. Board of Directors and our constituents thank Senator Chuck Schumer and Congresswoman Kathleen Rice for valuing the impact of the work we do. Communities of color across Long Island continue to face challenges in all the leading socioeconomic indicators.
