Announcement of Assembly Factory Expansion and Relocation of SANYO DENKI EUROPE S.A. in France

TOSHIMA-KU, Japan - Dec. 16, 2022 - PRLog -- SANYO DENKI CO., LTD. (Head office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Chairman of the Board & CEO: Shigeo Yamamoto) announces that SANYO DENKI EUROPE S.A. (President & CEO: Eric Bonnet), a SANYO DENKI Group company based in France, will expand its assembly factory and be relocated to accommodate the expansion.

1.     Objectives of the factory expansion and relocation

From April 2021, SANYO DENKI Group began implementing the 9th Mideum-term Management Plan. The plan states "provide high-quality products and services suited to a top brand to all customers worldwide" in the action guidelines, and in order to realize this, we are engaged in a range of initiatives across the Group.

As part of such efforts, SANYO DENKI EUROPE S.A., a group company in France, will expand its current factory into a larger stepping motor assembly factory to further expand its business in Europe. With the assembly factory located alongside the sales office, more flexible customization tailored to local needs can be provided and our products can be delivered to the European market with shorter lead times.

Also, to accommodate the expansion, SANYO DENKI EUROPE S.A. will be relocated from Villepinte to Goussainville, France.
SANYO DENKI Group will continue to strengthen its production capacity to promptly deliver our uniform, high-quality products all over the world.
