Pharmacists Justin Ceravolo, Olivia Simmons earn Pharmacist Test and Treat Certification

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Dec. 9, 2022 - PRLog -- Pharmacists Justin Ceravolo and Olivia Simmons of Cypress Pharmacy have recently earned their Test and Treat Certification, expanding the pharmacy's services to include on-site testing and treatment for various minor illnesses.

Ceravolo and Simmons completed 20 hours of self-study and training through the test and treat certificate program, allowing them the ability to run tests for minor illnesses including strep throat, flu and urinary tract infections with results available onsite at the pharmacy. For treatment of an infection, the pharmacists can now provide a written prescription to the patient based on his or her positive test results.

"With this certification, we can provide added convenience to our customers with the ability to get tested and pick up their prescription for their treatment all in one stop."
