Valley Sleep Center Welcomes Dr. Michael Pelekanos

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Dec. 9, 2022 - PRLog -- Valley Sleep Center, which specializes in sleep health management services, is pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Pelekanos to the practice.

Dr. Michael Pelekanos attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA on a Division 1 Baseball Scholarship. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He went on to earn his Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He pursued a residency in Psychiatry at Temple University. After completing residency, he completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Stanford University. During his training, he published articles on various topics in sleep medicine and psychiatry and was nominated and awarded for excellence in patient care. Dr. Pelekanos is board certified in psychiatry and board eligible in sleep medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

When asked about joining the team at Valley Sleep Center, Dr. Pelekanos stated, "I'm so pleased to be here, serving patients at our Chandler location.  My goal for patients is to identify the root cause of poor sleep, and then to create a personalized treatment plan that allows them to sleep well, and ultimately be well.  Sleep is the foundation to good health as our body's cells regenerate during the sleep process.  Better sleep improves quality of life – and lifestyle optimization is key to wellness:  body, mind, spirit."
