2022 Colorado Cleantech Awards Winners AnnouncedBy: Colorado Cleantech Industry Association DENVER - Dec. 8, 2022 - PRLog -- The Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) hosted their 13th Annual Colorado Cleantech Awards in person on December 7, 2022 at Stranahan's Whiskey Distillery in Denver, Colorado. The event brings the cleantech community together to honor the creativity, innovation and dedication to a cleaner energy future put forth by Colorado's entrepreneurs, educators, innovators, volunteers and policymakers. The nominated companies were recognized for their resilience and dedication to creating a cleaner world.
CCIA's Board Chair, Ned Harvey, and Executive Director Mary Austin opened up the program by welcoming guests, nominees and program sponsors including: Cooley LLP, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Bolder Industries, Xcel Energy, UMB Bank, Vartega, Galway Sustainable Capital, Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, Colorado School of Mines, and Cresa. Colorado Governor Jared Polis presented the awards to the winning companies. Outstanding cleantech companies and individuals recognized for the 2022 Colorado Cleantech Awards were as follows: Emerging Cleantech Company: Starfire Energy Breakout Cleantech Company: ElektrikGreen, Inc High Impact Cleantech Company: Elephant Energy High Impact Global Cleantech Company: Solid Power Cleantech Champion: Mike Freeman, Innosphere Ventures Policymaker of the Year Award: Will Toor, Colorado Energy Office Key themes of the night's program were the collaborative nature of the Colorado cleantech ecosystem and the role of public policy in supporting clean technologies. Colorado's cleantech companies are continually increasing their footprint into new product areas and global markets.
