ESKILSTUNA, Sweden - Oct. 14, 2022 - PRLog -- anananas studio, a Sweden-based games studio that creates unique, surreal, and immersive VR experiences has just released its first demo on Steam for their upcoming PC VR action horror game LIMINAL PHASE. The development started about a year ago and the game was revealed during the "Upload VR Showcase Summer 2022" event.

LIMINAL PHASE takes you on a journey through a fractured mind battling psychic pain and on the brink of a mental breakdown. Fight disturbing monsters, solve peculiar puzzles and explore the twisted and horrific environments that Frank's mind constructs in this psychological horror action game for VR. The game is set in an alternate 1990s with a surreal twist. LIMINAL PHASE is inspired by games and movies from that era when CRT TVs, MS-DOS, and big box PC games were a thing.

  • An engaging and short singleplayer horror story in VR
  • Dreadful monsters and bizarre weapons
  • Varied gameplay set in an alternate '90s
  • An original soundtrack and Lo-fi aesthetics
  • Hidden secrets and easter eggs
  • Collectibles and Steam achievements
  • Free movement, teleport, smooth and snap turn
  • Support for LIV (Capture yourself inside VR)
"We're very proud of what we have accomplished during this past year and we're looking forward to finally sharing it in the form of a short demo."
/Massih Naisan, Co-Founder

We're aiming for a Q1 2023 release and LIMINAL PHASE will be available on SteamVR.
