BRACKNELL, U.K. - Sept. 30, 2022 - PRLog -- Rabies is a fatal virus that can be transmitted to people from the saliva of infected animals. An infected animal's bite or exposure can spread the disease. Coyotes, Skunks, stray Dogs, Bats, Foxes, and Raccoons are the animals through which Rabies can be transmitted.

Once a person started experiencing the signs and symptoms, the disease brings the person to the door of death. Therefore, people who live around such animals and are prone to Rabies should get vaccinated.

The initial signs and symptoms of Rabies may seem similar to flu and may last for days. Soon after, people can experience the following symptoms-

When should you see a doctor?

We suggest looking for immediate medical help if you are bitten or exposed to an animal suspected to be infected with Rabies. You and your doctor may decide the best treatment based on the situation when you are bitten or exposed to the infected animal.

It is very important to be alert. However, there can be times when you are sleeping and an infected animal bit you. In case you find a Rabies causing animal near after waking up, don't ignore the situation. Instead, reach out to your doctor as soon as possible to seek immediate and effective treatment.
