FORT WORTH, Texas - Sept. 22, 2022 - PRLog -- The Fort Worth Chorale - Texas' foremost civic chorus and Fort Worth's premier choral ensemble - is currently celebrating its 60th anniversary season and now asks patrons to honor the organization with a $60.00 donation today, #NTXGivingDay2022, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/donate/fortworthchorale.

Founded in 1962 as Schola Cantorum of Texas, Fort Worth Chorale is one of Texas' foremost civic choruses and the premier choral ensemble of Fort Worth. Comprised of more than 70 volunteer singers performing at the highest professional standards, the FWC traditionally performs three concerts yearly in venues across the North Texas area.

The FWC opens the 60th anniversary season next month with "American Treasures, with Shawn Kirchner" on Saturday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m. at UTA's Irons Recital Hall and again on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Fort Worth United Methodist Church.

North Texas Giving Day is a fundraising event created by the Communities Foundation of Texas. As one of the largest community foundations in the nation, CFT professionally manages more than 1,000 charitable funds for families, companies, foundations, and nonprofits and has awarded more than $2 billion in grants since its founding in 1953.
