The Golden Rules of Summer Watering

Evenly Moist Plants

In order to disperse nourishment to your trees and plants, you need to evenly distribute water/moisture to them. Doing this also helps to keep them cool. Think about getting all the roots around each plant with water. This allows the area to be properly irrigated. If you don't water properly and its only to one side of the plant, this allows for unhealthy, one-sided root growth. This leads to lopsided nutrient absorption.
