Ernst, Dubai's first, largest and most authentic Biergarten and Wirtshaus. The new opening promises a traditional Bavarian experience, from the interiors to the authentic cuisine and drinks on tap. Their lush, spacious garden emulates the abundant Bavarian greenery that surrounds guests as they sip on refreshing pints. Ernst is set to be an exceptional venue unlike any other, the first of its kind, recreating the cultural
biergarten that Bavarian locals and tourists love to visit, right here in Dubai.
Stepping into the tucked away tavern, guests are transported to a countryside tavern on the outskirts of Southeast Germany. Greeted immediately by lush green interiors, accentuated by ambient lighting and solid, carved wooden furniture that is often found in Germany's hidden breweries. Upon entry, guests will notice the
stein lockers, which will hold personalised steins (that can be purchased on-site) of regular customers that plan to visit often, a personal touch that makes loyal customers feel a part of a community. At the centre of the venue, patrons will find a colossal maypole fixed to the ceiling, painted in traditional Bavarian colours - a nod to the time-honoured tradition of erecting a large wooden maypole to commemorate the rich culture of Bavaria.
With a licence to serve pork and pork products, Ernst caters to every type of appetite and palate offering classic Bavarian dishes to relish taste buds. On the menu, Ernst's patrons can find dishes such as the venue's hero dish,
Schweinshaxe or pork knuckles (AED150),
Weisswurst or original Bavarian sausage (AED55)
, traditional Bavarian pretzels (starting from AED35),
Sauerkraut or pickled German white cabbage (AED20),
Wiener schnitzel or veal escalope (AED100), and more.
A place where everyone is welcome and treated like family, Ernst aims to be a second home to the diverse demographic in Dubai, offering a taste of home to some and a deeply cultural experience to others. Pouring genuine Bavarian hops such as Paulaner, imported straight from the German state, Ernst is uncompromising in their authenticity, offering an atmosphere similar to that found during Oktoberfest in Munich, year-round.
