Hoffman Homes For Youth Celebrate New Transitional Living Program For Teens & Young Adults With Rib

LITTLESTOWN, Pa. - May 27, 2022 - PRLog -- Littlestown, PA - Hoffman Homes for Youth, celebrated the addition of its new Transitional Living Program for Teens and Young Adults in Littlestown with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 26th. The organization's owners were joined by representatives from the New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce, The Chamber of Gettysburg & Adams County, and The Hanover Area Chamber of Congress. Elected officials Marty Qually, Adams County Commissioner, Dan Moul, PA State Representative, and Nancy Bull, Constituent Services Director on behalf of Congressman John Joyce also attended in support of the organization.

The new Transitional Living Program (TLP) is a county-funded program open to existing residents as well as other youth/young adults through the Office of Children, Youth, and Families. It will serve females ages 16-21 by providing the necessary skill development and support to help effectively transition them into the community setting.

TLP services include Individual, group, and family therapies plus equine-assisted, art, and animal-assisted creative therapy options. It will also offer onsite medical services and vocational training/educational services on-site and in the community.
