Interc.LAB: ERASMUS+ Project on Innovation for the Inclusion of Migrants starts in Matera

MATERA, Italy - April 29, 2022 - PRLog -- The complex context of the Russian-Ukrainian war makes the topic of inclusion of migrants in European societies even more topical.
The two-day kick-off meeting of the ERASMUS+ Project 2021-1-IT01-KA220-VET-000033212 Intercultural Lab for migrants' inclusion, which involved the two companies Studio Risorse S.r.l. (accredited training agency) and iInformatica S.r.l. (accredited training agency) from Matera, has ended. (accredited Training Agency) and iInformatica S.r.l. (private Research Centre specialised in experimental development) together with the prestigious European Partners Asociacion de Innovacion Innetica (Spain), AFN Academia Formação do Norte (Portugal), ISON PSYCHOMETRICA (Greece) and VOLKSHOCHSCHULE IM LANDKREIS CHAM EV (Germany).
The aim of the project is to promote the inclusion of migrants through the definition of appropriate procedures for the certification of skills, the matching of labour supply and demand, and appropriate multidisciplinary counselling with the aim of supporting the user in obtaining the EU BLUE CARD.
Among its deliverables, the project foresees the creation of an application to facilitate the achievement of the Blue Card for the migrant thanks to an appropriate use of the specific legislative contents of the country of reference and through a blockchain certification of both the skills presented and declared by the migrant and the job offers inserted by interested companies.
Therefore, the blockchain becomes a cornerstone of guarantees for the institution, for the migrant and also for the employer.
Maria Santarcangelo, Project Manager of Studio Risorse S.r.l., Lead partner of the Project, says satisfied "The post pandemic allowed us to come back to meet face to face with our Project Partners. In fact, the human synergy and the sharing of experiences is a key objective of the Cooperation Projects of the EU Erasmus+ Programme, where our training body plays a role of coordinator and know-how transfer in terms of methods and skills. Specifically, we will be involved in the development of a training programme for employers to develop intercultural and socio-emotional skills, which are essential for the integration of migrants into our societies, and inclusive workshops to enhance the key and professional skills required by the EU BLUE CARD, which facilitates regular entry and integration into the world of work.
This is a complex issue that requires increasing attention and dedication, on which the Partners are confident to provide a valuable contribution to the improvement of Inclusion Management".
