Samuel Freshfields Promotes Mr. Anton Novak to Executive Position
The firm appoints new Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Real Return Strategies
Mr. Suen will be stepping down from the position of Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Real Return Strategies at the end of the year and he has been made responsible with exercising a final vote in recommending one of his team members for promotion. Samuel Freshfields' Board of Directors has entrusted Mr. Suen to propose the most suitable candidate due to the fact that he has guided and worked very closely with each of the team members involved in conducting the real return projects of the firm.
Anton Novak has come out as the finalist among 4 other candidates to occupy the position.
"The difference that has propelled Mr. Novak to become our next Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Real Return Strategies in front of his colleagues was his tenure with the firm. He has been working side by side with Mr. Suen for a great period of time, this being translated into the decisive factor of nomination that has been focused on continuity,"
Mr. Novak stated: "I truly believe that my skills, together with my close professional proximity to Mr. Suen for an extended period of time will allow me to continue our innovative approach and in-house developed procedures of data processing and technology, to better construct diversified portfolios using a full array of return sources. My perspective aligns with Mr. Suen's fundamental approach and this will reinforce my ability to leverage expertise from across the organization."
