Awards Hat Trick for Bolton Broker

BOLTON, U.K. - March 21, 2022 - PRLog -- Stanmore, a commercial insurance broker based in Little Lever was named 'Schemes Broker of the Year' at the National Insurance awards in London last week. The award recognised the broker's impressive nursery insurance scheme that insures the nurseries of over 120,000 children across the UK. Stanmore Managing Director, Jackie Hyde, set up the scheme nearly 25 years ago and it continues to grow year-on-year having started managing just £100,000 of premium for local nurseries to handing over £4 million for the sector nationally today. This is the 3rd time the brokerage has been named schemes broker of the year in the past 5 years.
Managing Director Jackie has also been named one of Insurance Business UK's 63 Elite Women this month. This annual list is compiled by a leading insurance magazine and lists those women doing the most for the sector, championing women, girls and female-led businesses and initiatives. It is the second year that Jackie has been highlighted as one of the women at the top of the insurance sector. "I love working in insurance" commented Jackie "every day is different and I get to work with some of the most amazing clients, from all over the UK".
The final award went to Stanmore's Marketing Manager Melanie Smith, who earlier this month was crowned The Women in Leadership Association's 'Rising Star'. Stanmore has always been marketing-led and Melanie has helped them take their marketing to the next level. The Women in Leadership Associations Awards coincided with International Women's Day and this female-led business continues to go from strength-to-strength as these three awards show.
