New Jersey Vision Associates Announces New Dry Eye Center of Excellence

BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - March 18, 2022 - PRLog -- New Jersey Vision Associates, led by Mitchell Vogel, M.D., F.A.C.S., announced it is accepting new patients for its recently added Dry Eye Center of Excellence.  The Center is located at N.J. Vision Associates office at 1455 Broad Street, Suite 110, Bloomfield, New Jersey.

6.8% of the United States adult population (approximately 16.4 million people) have been diagnosed with dry eye disease (D.E.D.), according to National Health and Wellness Survey statistics.  Dry eye symptoms typically occur in both eyes and include stinging, burning, or scratchiness; eye fatigue; sensitivity to light; difficulty wearing contact lenses; excessive tearing; or blurry vision.  In addition, dry eye can damage eye tissues, leaving tiny abrasions on the surface that can impair vision.
