BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - March 17, 2022 - PRLog -- After two years of closure, Vietnam fully reopened its borders for tourism on the 15 March 2022. Visitors are welcome back without the need for any Covid test on arrival, no quarantine and a minimum of entry requirements.

Simultaneously the government announced a resumption of its unilateral visa exemption policy for citizens from 13 countries, including the UK, and E-visas available for citizens from a further 80 countries.

This places Vietnam as Southeast Asia's leader in the race to reinstate pre-pandemic tourism. With virtually no overseas visitors currently travelling, this is a golden moment to explore Vietnam without the crowds.

This comes on top of the news that Bamboo Airways, first established in 2017, are to introduce a brand-new non-stop flight service between Heathrow and Hanoi from 23rd March using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

This will boost the profile of Vietnam as a holiday destination in the UK market and help keep prices competitive. The airline has an extensive domestic network and is plans to introduce regional services to Cambodia, Laos and beyond.

Comments Robin Ball, Director of Bamboo Travel: "It is a delight to be teaming up with our namesake airline! Bamboo Airways plan to go to a daily service next year, which will make our job of planning and operating bespoke tours of Indochina that much easier."

Bamboo Travel has 26 recommended tours that include Vietnam – either as a solo destination or 'multi country' – including the popular, 13-day Highlights of Vietnam – perfect for the first-time visitor.

What's more, Bamboo Travel are discounting the trip by £100 per person, to celebrate their new relationship with Bamboo Airways.

Representing great value for money, the private tour covers all the principal sights of Vietnam in a short space of time.

Highlights include an overnight cruise around Lan Ha Bay on a junk boat, the historic towns of Hue and Hoi An, an overnight stay in the Mekong Delta, and the two main cities of Hanoi and Saigon.

The tour also features some of the best local boutique-style hotels which are all centrally located, allowing independent exploration of Vietnam's delightful shops and restaurants.

The holiday costs from £2,075 per person (two sharing).  This includes international and domestic flights, all transportation, 10 nights' B&B accommodation (plus two lunches and one dinner), sightseeing/activities and guides for city tours.
