The TV season featuring the best and newest Asian American talent in the country returns to television in 2022

NEW YORK - Jan. 2, 2022 - PRLog -- The TOP 50 films of The 72 Hour Film Shootout (*F) 2021 "Be A Hero" filmmaking competition, run by the Asian American Film Lab (*F), will be featured in the upcoming 2022 season of the widely watched television series "Film Lab Presents" on Crossings TV (]K*F). The show highlights the best and newest Asian American talent, as well as featuring actors, writers and directors from other underrepresented groups!  This year's season focuses on original fictional narratives relating to the pandemic and the interplay between race and societal roles.  The series is hosted by actor Jennifer Betit Yen.  This year's films were curated by Film Lab's 72 Hour Shootout Coordinator Shing Chung.  Featured films and filmmakers will include: Nuk Suwanchote; Matilda Saell;  David Choi; Kevin Chew;  Alex Lee; Eileen Li; Foster Manley;  Amanda Shi; Ashleigh Coffelt, and many more.
