| Aelius LED Launches New Tube Series for Cloning and PropagationLight Technology Recipes Takes Home and Commercial Growers from Seed to Sale
By: Aelius LED "Horticultural LED research continues to evolve and growers are always looking at new ways to gain that edge at every stage of the plant's life cycle," said Ryan Kirwan ,CEO of Aelius LED. "As we all know, lighting needs will vary from seed to harvest and plant to plant." The Aelius 20W LED tube was developed in direct response to client feedback and informal focus groups conducted over the last 3 years. Aelius prides themselves on being innovators in the LED space, which includes investing the time to discover the specific challenges that their consumers are facing, and developing the LED products that offer solutions right from seed. Planned for release in early 2022, their cloning spectrum 6500K will provide growers with the option to use LEDs throughout the entire growth cycle. Designed with classic blue light, the Aelius LED cloning recipe was specifically created to provide young plants the light that they need to develop strong roots in a short time. Initial trials with the clone light bar have been extremely positive, with root growth occurring within just 7 to 10 days. "From a practical standpoint, the Aelius 20w LED tube seamlessly fits into the client's existing infrastructure, easily replacing old technology in the grow room," said Kirwan. "With three light recipes available, growers can ensure that plants receive the spectrum that they need, when they need it most." The Aelius 20W LED tube is a classic and practical design that provides an LED alternative to the traditional T5 and T8 fixtures. The user can daisy chain the tubes together to suit their needs on a large scale. Each fixture comes with end caps for easy mounting and cleaning. The LED tube is available in three different light recipes, 6500K for cloning cannabis, as well as 5000K and 5000K + 660nm & 730nm for greens and other vegetables. Spectrums are sold in packs of four to provide you with the coverage you need while saving on costs. The lights are in the final stages of development, and will be released as soon as they have obtained all certifications.
