Tail Waggers Charitable Foundation launched by business leaders in St. Johns County, Fla

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Dec. 16, 2021 - PRLog -- Tail Waggers Charitable Foundation has recently formed as a group of community leaders who assist, support, and help dogs and owners in need as a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in St. Johns County, Fla. The Foundation raises funds to provide assistance to benevolent canine organizations to further help take care of dogs and pet owners throughout Northeast Florida.

The organization was founded by Stefanie Robinson, a longtime business owner and civic leader in St. Augustine. She will serve as executive director along with David M. Hartzel as vice president and John S. Robinson as secretary and treasurer, including board members Caroline Forbis, Julianna Howe, Peggy Tennyson, and Dr. Jack Schmidt, DVM.

According to Robinson, she and her team find and fund assistance for abused and neglected dogs as loyal, loving companions. "All too often, we hear of dogs who are abused, neglected and forgotten. Some of the lucky ones find their way to shelters and rescues where they are given another chance at a positive life and can be adopted into loving, forever homes," she said. "These stories are what formed Tail Waggers as a group of community leaders coming together to help sustain and maintain the well-being of dogs in our many area communities." Robinson and her team are already providing homes and positive dog rescue stories as heartwarming testaments to local pet owners who are willing to give a dog a healthy, new opportunity.

She added, "Many of the dogs have great obstacles to overcome from past traumas, however local pet adopters who work through the difficulties show unconditional love to their rescue dogs. Saving a dog is not always easy, and sometimes you need to gain a dog's trust. However, the love and loyalty that you get back once you earn that trust can come back to you forever," said Robinson.
