Local Professional Football Player, Ricky Wyatt, Signs With San Diego Strike Force (IFL)

MESA, Ariz. - Dec. 6, 2021 - PRLog -- Black Diamond PR & Sport Management Firm, one of the top 10 independently owned Sport Management Firms in the U.S., is pleased to announce the signing of their client, and Mesa native, Ricky Wyatt, to the San Diego Strike Force. The San Diego Strike Force  are a professional arena team in the Indoor Football League (IFL), located in San Diego, California.

Ricky Wyatt, a Mesa native, is a 6'0, 240 lb linebacker out of the University of Central Arkansas. Upon his graduation, Wyatt took the professional arena football field by storm, playing and excelling for many different teams from 2017-the present. Dodge City Law, Salina Liberty, Arizona Rattlers and his newest conquest the San Diego Strike Force have all seen him as an unstoppable force on the field.

The San Diego Strike Force is a professional indoor football team in the Indoor Football League (IFL). They began play in 2019 with their inaugural season at Pechanga Arena in San Diego. After the first game of the 2020 season, the season was cancelled due to the on-set of the COVID-19 pandemic. The team also stayed dormant in 2021 due to the continued pandemic restrictions in California. SD Strike Force has brought in a new head coach, David Beezer, and are hoping with his guidance to bring home an IFL Championship in 2022.

In 2021, the Indoor Football League had active teams in Spokane, Washington; San Jose and San Diego, California; Phoenix, Tucson and Prescott Valley, Arizona; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Frisco, Texas; Bismarck, North Dakota; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Des Moines, Iowa; Moline, Illinois; Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin; Worcester, Massachusetts and Louisville, Kentucky. The Pirates ousted the Rattlers in the United Bowl 37-34 to claim the IFL Championship title. For the 2022 season, the IFL has new expansion teams in Las Vegas, Nevada and Columbus, Ohio giving the IFL 16 active teams.
