As a busy, working parent, as most Gastonianian's are, the school day rarely works the same hours you do. Leaving students unsupervised at home and risk for involvement in inappropriate behaviors is not an option.

Ridgeview Charter School's before and aftercare programs support students in becoming the kindest, most capable, and resilient version of themselves. Our  Program increases the likelihood that students' free time after school will positively affect their lives, as it's safe, fun, rewarding, and full of activities and games that parents and students love.

As our program is located within the school, giving students a familiar environment that parents can trust.

Ridgeview's After School program counts with a team of professionals trained to promote and teach, cooperate, support, and mutual respect. Committed with our students, and engaging them from homework help, to games and art projects. At Ridgeview, we want to inspire and challenge students to improve their learning in school, teach them life skills, and provide them academic enrichment opportunities.

1. Increases Academic Effort, Performance, and Attendance:  Students that go to the after-school program have a higher attendance rate and performance. Since all projects are STEM-based activities, students continue to learn even after their homework is done.
2. Improving students' social skills: Before and after school programs can greatly expand social circles and skills. The program is located inside Ridgeview Charter School, and the student connects with familiar faces but in a different environment.

Ridgeview's Before and After School Care Program provides a combination of enrichment and academic services focused on recreation, character development, leadership, and physical activity.
