Follow on Google News | Local Toastmasters Club Looks to the Future with New NameRowan Toastmasters - chartered in 2017 - has announced that effective immediately they changed their name to "Speak to Lead - Gloucester County."
"Speak to Lead is one of only two Toastmasters clubs in Gloucester County, a county with a growing population of over 300,000 residents" said Club President Jeff Pickens. "There is plenty of potential for growth. We provide a supportive, positive, non-judgmental environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills." More and more developing leaders are realizing that the ability to present in a public setting - both in-person and virtually - requires confidence and experience. " 'Practice makes perfect' applies to our bi-weekly meetings," states Vice President of Education Don Netz. Mr. Netz added: "We believe that the combination of preparing and evaluating speeches with a fun portion of the meeting featuring impromptu speeches provides an ideal environment to gain confidence and hone speaking skills." All are welcome to visit Speak to Lead - Gloucester County as guests. The club meets twice a month, virtually on the second Monday of the month and in person on the fourth Monday of the month.
