Yours Humanly Announces Four Recipients of Its Children Have the Power to Empower® Award

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Oct. 5, 2021 - PRLog -- Yours Humanly, a global nonprofit that transforms the lives of children in need around the world by providing access to quality education and equitable resources, has announced four new 2021 recipients of its Children Have the Power to Empower® Award, which recognizes children for their outstanding acts of goodness that make a significant difference in the lives of others.

The Children Have the Power to Empower Award showcases "in service to others" in a meaningful way and demonstrates to family, friends, and community that even children have the power to empower when they lend a helping hand and an open heart.

Miran Bhima, 17, of Charlotte, North Carolina, was recognized for the outstanding acts of goodness he performs through his international nonprofit Strive2Thrive Edu, which focuses on improving educational systems and infrastructures for the benefit of children in need. He has raised tens of thousands of dollars and touched the lives of more than 10,000 marginalized youth in 35 developing nations.

Gavino Delgado, 10, of Sahuarita, Arizona, was recognized for the outstanding acts of goodness he regularly performs for those in need, including coordinating a successful community cornhole tournament fundraiser that raised hundreds of dollars, benefiting scores of hungry families during the 2020 Thanksgiving season.

Vanesha Hari, 15, of Redmond, Washington, was recognized for the outstanding acts of goodness she performs through her nonprofit initiative Joys of Giving, focusing on two of the United Nation's global challenges: Zero Hunger and Quality Education for all children. She has raised tens of thousands of dollars benefitting more than 700 children in need.

Devika Manoj, 17, of Suwanee, Georgia, was recognized for the outstanding acts of goodness she performs through Blooming Seeds, her global youth-run organization that fosters science curiosity in children with special needs.
