Sharam Kohan, LLC is sponsoring a non-profit governance networking event on March 14, 2022 in San Jose.  This exercise will provide participating non-profit organizations with an opportunity to connect with board members and leaders of other non-profit organizations, assess their governance capabilities, and plans.  It will focus on decision-making, governance versus management.  The expected outcome of the event is to strengthen and enhance the management of nonprofit organizations.

Having excellence in both governance and management is a must for every organization to operate successfully. Well-thought-out corporate governance and hardworking management often translate into optimal outcomes in terms of deliverables, sustainability, and satisfied stakeholders. The event is intended to communicate best practices that can help avoid negligence in governance and poor management performance, or a lack of alignment between the two, that often cause disastrous consequences for the stakeholders as well as for the entity as a whole.
