Two Tampa companies donate computers to Joshua House

TAMPA, Fla. - Sept. 29, 2021 - PRLog -- Tampa-based eSmart Recycling and Atlas Professional Services have teamed up to donate computer equipment and IT setup services to Friends of Joshua House Foundation Inc., a nonprofit that promotes growth, stability and support to children in the foster care system.

The donation includes 10 fully refurbished laptops and five desktop computer workstations, which will provide kids who are receiving support from Joshua House with access to computers for study and homework.

eSmart Recycling is providing the refurbished computer equipment, while Atlas Professional Services, a leading Tampa Bay IT support services provider, will donate resources to set up the computers and workstations. The partnership aims to provide a sustainable solution to bridge the device gap and provide basic technology infrastructure to kids in the Tampa Bay area who do not have access to computers.

The organization creates an enriching family-like environment where children in foster care with complex traumas can heal, recover and stabilize so that placement permanency can be provided.
