Molly Sweeney, MS, RDN, LDN, CDCES, Awarded National Bariatric Board Certification

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Sept. 11, 2021 - PRLog -- Molly Sweeney, MS, RDN, LDN, CDCES, a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, from Wilkes-Barre PA, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized fellowship training and education program in bariatric science she was recently credentialed as a Board Certified. Bariatric Counselor (CBC).

Molly completed her Undergraduate Degree and Dietetics Internship at Marywood University in Scranton, PA., and her Master's Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Alabama.

Currently Molly serves as the Lifestyle Coordinator with the Lehigh Valley Physician Group-Hazleton. She is integral member of their surgical and non-surgical bariatric program, where she provides individual counseling for bariatric patients that often are also diagnosed with diabetes.

Recognizing her professional stature, clinical skills and commitment to bariatric care and treatment, AABC awarded her a fellowship scholarship. Her professional accomplishments and clinical experience will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
