What is microblading?

Microblading (also referred to as Microstroking, Eyebrow Embroidery, Feather Stroke Brows, 3D Brows,  micropigmentation, etc)
is the process of manually implanting color pigment into the dermis, by means of tiny, sterile, disposable needles to create the appearance of natural looking hair strokes.
Microblading is a manual form of semi-permanent makeup used to enhance eyebrows with natural hair like strokes.

This procedure is ideal for clients who desire a fuller, more symmetric brow with a natural looking result A tool is used to apply pigment into the superficial layers of the skin to mimic the look of individual eyebrow hairs. For optimal results, a touch up or perfecting session is required between 6-8 weeks following the original session. Once the final touch up is completed, your new eyebrows will last 12-18 months depending on skin type and lifestyle.
Microblading started in Asia about 25 years ago, but it is just catching on in the United States.

It is an advanced brow embroidery technique whereby a superfine row of needles is used to create thin, hair-like marks on the skin through manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of skin to create the desired fullness and shape of the eyebrows. Series of fine lines placed along the skin, in the same hair growth pattern as your existing hair.

The treatment typically takes between two to two-and one-half hours with most of that time used to map the desired shape.
