People of color continue to face higher rates of unemployment, are underrepresented in corporate leadership, and face racism and microaggressions in the workplace. A year after George Floyd's death, the world's biggest companies have made little progress against their goals of fighting racial inequity within their own ranks.

When it comes to the battle for talent, companies realize that diversity gives them a competitive advantage.
