By: Phenixx Marketing and Media
With the collective help of local sponsors, including Big Tony's West Philly Cheesesteak, DFW Hoops Royce Dixon, MaxLevels Elite coaches, the Tyrese Maxey Foundation, and the entire Garland community, the Tyrese Maxey Foundation Basketball Skills Camp will serve as a resource for young Garland athletes to learn and train from the very best. Camp participants will learn player IQ drills, shooting, footwork, and precision passing skills, and read and react drills to play 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 situational games with Tyrese Maxey, himself.
The Tyrese Maxey Foundation Basketball Skills Camp will also focus on off-the-court skills through life lesson mentoring that focuses on the Tyrese Maxey Foundation core values: faith, family, fashion, and finance. Camp participants will have the opportunity to learn from those making a difference around them and learn how they can also make a difference in their own community.
The Tyrese Maxey Foundation Basketball Skills Camp is set to run from 9 a.m., to 12 p.m., on August 14, 2021, at South Garland High School.
The Tyrese Maxey Foundation Basketball Skills Camp is open to boys aged 7 to 12. Camp participants are required to bring a $50 registration fee. This registration fee will provide camp participants with a basketball from Nike and a t-shirt. In addition, a portion of proceeds will go towards funding community projects for the Garland community on behalf of the Tyrese Maxey Foundation. Limited spots are available.
