Consequential Planning donates to Bosom Buddies breast cancer support group

STOURBRIDGE, U.K. - July 15, 2021 - PRLog -- Bosom Buddies is a breast cancer support group that empowers women through their breast cancer journey and beyond.

Bosom Buddies was founded in 2017 by Jo Buckland who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016. She realised that there wasn't much support in the Kidderminster area and set up the group. Their mission is to bring about confidence, self-awareness and the ability to embrace the new normal.

They intend to  use the funds to support more women affected by breast cancer, by booking larger venues for meetings with guest speakers, refreshments, advertising, and merchandise. As soon as lockdown restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so, they will return to their usual schedule of fun and laughter, resuming organised events and activities such as fund raising, wreath making, wellbeing days, and much more.

Bosom Buddies are in the process of applying to become a charity. While they meet on Monday mornings at Cookley Village Hall in Kidderminster, their dream is to find a permanent address in the area. This will allow them to offer even more help to ladies and their families affected by breast cancer, from diagnosis and beyond.
