By: Asian American Podcasters Association
All show episodes will be recorded with a LIVE audience, AAP co-founder Andrew Wang confirmed. "We're happy to highlight our members and their shows, and we're looking forward to showcasing the work of Asian American Pacific Islander podcasters from across the globe." The festival will be held virtually via Zoom. Tickets are Pay-As-You-Wish.
Shows and hosts include: Stories with Sapphire with Sapphire Sandalo; #hashtagimpact with Regina Larko and Carol Li; Future Hindsight with Mila Atmos and guest Maria Yuan of IssueVoter; The Power of the Only with Angela Chee; The Filipino American Woman Project with Jen Amos and Nani Dominguez; Hacks and Hobbies with Junaid Ahmed; Asian American Podcasters Association Podcast with Andrew Wang and Lee Uehara; We the Peeps with Ty Fujimura and Clayton Fujimura; and Retire There with Gil & Gene with Gilen and Gene Preudhomme.
"We wanted to celebrate AAPI Heritage month with a special offering," co-founder Lee Uehara said. "And what better way to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month than to do this -- especially since some of the shows were either nominated or won a GOLDEN CRANE Podcast Award."
The First Annual Asian Podcast Festival will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Ticket levels are free and Pay-As-You-Wish. People can register here: http://www.AsianPodcastFestival.org.
There will be a live Question and Answer session after each show episode recording. Membership to the Asian American Podcasters Association is currently free. To join and for more information:
