The Tutoring Club of St. Johns offers specialized support for students with learning differences

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - April 13, 2021 - PRLog -- The Tutoring Club of St. Johns is offering specialized support for students who have learning differences to further help children who need to catch up and do well in school due to the pandemic and during all other times.

According to Kimberly Mullins, The Tutoring Club center owner, focusing on subjects like writing, reading, math, and science, the center's proprietary tutorial methods offer live teacher-child interactions which allow children to concentrate and get the help they need with academic reinforcement and confidence building. The Tutoring Club is offering 50 percent off $75 in sessions purchased through the end of May to help parents get help for students in need.

National Tutoring Association (NTA) certified tutors work at Mullins' centers and are trained to combat the consequences of this difficult time with student education interventions to avoid any gaps that need to be mitigated. Additionally, many of The Tutoring Club educators are well-trained and experienced in the Orton-Gillingham Approach, a direct, explicit, multisensory, structured, sequential, diagnostic, and prescriptive way to teach literacy when reading, writing, and spelling does not come easily to students with dyslexia and a myriad of other learning challenges.

For students with learning differences such as Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and dyslexia, extra help each day can help them catch up quickly when combined with proven teaching techniques for each student to learn in their specific style. According to  Mullins, on average, each grade level involves approximately 30 to 40 hours of tutoring instruction depending on the student, and 50 to 60 hours for dyslexic students.
