INK! (Investing in Kids) Make a Mark teacher awards and nominations deadline on May 7

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - April 9, 2021 - PRLog -- INK!'s (Investing in Kids) Make a Mark award campaign and special recognition program in partnership with Tutoring Club of St. Johns is culminating with nominations due on Friday, May 7. The program honors teachers in St. Johns County, Fla. public schools who encourage students to make positive advancements in education and the community. This year's efforts began in November 2020. Each month, teachers who are nominated receive tutoring services for students in need of extra help in a variety of scholastic subjects.

As the 501(c)(3) direct support organization, INK! leads efforts to benefit educators and students of the St. Johns County public school district.

"Currently, teachers are instructing in class and virtually. They work so hard to ensure their students' success. However, many children need additional, customized instruction. We appreciate the Tutoring Club of St. Johns for this wonderful opportunity," said Donna Lueders, INK! Executive Director. "When a teacher invests in their students, they can inspire them to persevere and not give up. Those educators who are selected have demonstrated an ability to go above and beyond the call of duty," she said.

Each winner is nominated by students, parents, colleagues, friends, and community business partners. Winners receive a gift basket of prizes including a free assessment and one-month complimentary tutoring for a student of their choice.
