ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - March 31, 2021 - PRLog -- Kellie Tinnin, Association for Talent Development, New Mexico's Vice President of Communication and Social Media had the opportunity to interview Pamela Fuller, Author of "The Leader's Guide to Unconscious Bias."

This interview took place in early March and was made available for members of the Association for Talent Development, New Mexico. The interview broached the relevant topic of unconscious bias in the workplace and how leaders can be more aware of bias to build strong, high-performing teams. The book offers a rather disarming approach to recognizing bias in the workplace.

Pamela and Kellie keep the conversation light and throughout the interview, Kellie and Pamela discuss aspects of the book, including:

How bias should not be a "four-letter" word,
How self-awareness and mindfulness can help to promote new ways of thinking,
Promoting authentic environments where people can thrive, - An open-door policy is "just an open door," and
Having the courage to take small steps to recognize and make progress towards changing bias.
