Decathlon's fitness apps can now integrate weather conditions from Klimat
Klimat's weather condition integration and tagging tool can show Decathlon app users weather and air quality updates in real time
Klimat has added compatibility with sporting goods retailer Decathlon's suite of apps, including Decathlon Coach, Decathlon Connect, E-connected, and B'TWIN training.
Klimat incorporates at-a-glance information about current weather and outdoor conditions to provide insights into outdoor activities like running, cycling, skiing, hiking, and more. With Klimat, users can receive automated updates about outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, air quality data from AirVisual, and more. They can customize the data they want to see and in what format, create their own labels, add emojis, and choose their preferred language.
With the Decathlon integration, weather information for any global location is now automatically populated into Decathlon's suite of fitness app training logs.
Decathlon joins a growing list of Klimat-supported apps, including Strava, the Under Armour Connected Fitness line of MapMyFitness apps (MapMyRun, MapMyRide, and MapMyWalk), Ride with GPS, and the Nolio training platform as well as Suunto's sports devices.
"We are incredibly honored to add Klimat functionality to Decathlon's apps by partnering with one of the world's largest and most trusted retail athletic brands," said Scott Ferguson, Klimat's founder. "This new integration is part of our aggressive plan to expand compatibility as we empower fitness enthusiasts worldwide to track and learn from the weather and air quality conditions during their outdoor activities."
In addition to adding compatibility with Decathlon's suite of apps, Klimat recently added Aeris Weather (www.aerisweather.com)
